This is BIG DUDE.  Grown in our garden.  J had big plans for this pumpkin.  He wanted a really scary face to scare trick-or-treaters.  He found a pumpkin on line and he and Dad went to work!  Pretty scary don't ya think?

Waterfalls and Feeding Fish

On his birthday, we walked up to the falls and J fed the fish.  He was a little shy at first, but quickly got the hang of it.

4th Birthday Already?

My how time flies...   It is fun to see him growing up and enjoying his birthday's.  It was funny to hear him say "The worst part of the day is waiting."  He wanted to get 1 present after breakfast, one after lunch, one after the hike etc.  Then he decided he should wait, because once he gets one, he will want more and more, so he will just wait and have them all at once.  It was a long day for him, but he did good, before the party started. We hiked up to some waterfalls, where he fed the fish and had fun.  He requested "ba-scetti" for dinner, and a Nemo Cake.  So - that's what we gave him.  He enjoyed all the attention and stacks of presents, and two parties.

Pre- preschool Interview

J was down visiting this weekend and decided to share his feelings on what he thinks about preschool. He is pretty excited to start this week! Good luck J!

Museum of Natural History - Bone Museum

 It seems like J always goes to museums with me....but we sure have a fun time! Today, we ventured to the Museum of Natural History, or the Bone Museum as J called it. He was pretty excited to go see the dinosaurs. It was fun to see him get excited about all the different dinosaurs. He loved the ones whose toes were as big as him! We walked around and saw all the different fossils. After a few hours, we had lunch outside, where he was a crazy little monkey! I heard that after our trip he went home and took a 2 3/4 hour nap....we had fun what can I say?!

Children's Museum

In July, J decided to take us to the Children's Museum in Salt Lake. Just the two of us, we had a fun day. He showed me all the fun exhibits, all the toys, how to shop with the shopping carts, move blocks with the construction set, we visited the helicopter, and had a fun day! He knew his way around the museum - we just went from one thing to the next while he told me all about it!

J, E, and the Museum

J got to spend the day at the Children's Museum with me. He loved taking me around to show me all the exhibits and the toys.

We spent 3 hours playing and having a good time. Wore us both out - J fell asleep in the car about 3 minutes into the ride home!

Weekend at Care's
