Thanksgiving...

The turkey J and aunt C made.  The eyes are a little off, but that's ok! He was very proud of his work.

The pilgrim hat that grandma-mother brought J for Thanksgiving dinner.  There was an indian one too, but J liked the pilgrim one.

Decorating gingerbread houses at C's house. I think he ate more candy than he put on his house.

Mom had to front and he carefully put the candy on being extra careful not to get sticky. That is the one thing this kid can't stand - anything that will make him sticky.

Our completed houses.
.
Not sure what this is, but I found it on my camera and thought it was funny.

Shopping and Scheel's

We went and checked out the new Scheel's store - it was pretty neat and J found lots of things to interest him.

A sailboat / kayak thing - just like his dad likes.

Car Basket that we was too busy driving to look up for.
A really cool jeep - to play in.

Shopping with mom and the aunts. There is always lots of entertainment and never a dull moment with the aunts.

1st Snow of the year

He has been waiting and waiting for the snow that sticks so he could go and make some snowmen.  Going to the grocery store he wanted nothing to do with it and wanted to wait out the snow at the store.  When we got the right gear on he was loving it.  I had to call it quits after an hour and he reluctantly came in and took a warm bath.  Good times!

RRRAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!

Here is this years costume. This was the first time he had put it on. He loved it! He kept asking if he could put on his Dragon costume.  He got a a bit warm, would take it off and take a break then put it back on again.  He loves to Roar, so this is a perfect costume for him.  With his practicing of trick-or-treating he is ready for next week.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

I can't believe he is already 3 years old.  We had a fun little party with him last night.  He quite enjoyed being the center of attention - but then again, that is nothing new.  He picked the large birthday hat and liked wearing it, except that it was a little big and kept falling off.  He got lots of new toys and had them all pulled out by the end of the evening.  It was funny, when we were singing, he sang along too, Happy Birthday me, and to the Dory....  Very Funny.

Showing that he is 3 years old.

 The birthday hat!

He has become an expert present opener.  He takes and flips them, and rips it open!

Jake and Dory (I still haven't learned to move my hand out of the flash.)

 Party Blowers.

Enjoying cake. Everyone had blue mouths afterwards.

Practice Makes Perfect

Game Day came and J was dressed and ready to cheer.

He found this costume in my box and pulled it out, so he could practice.  The costume is a little big, but it worked!

Wear the colors proudly!

After game #1 J had to put on his matching hat and shirt.  Too bad you can't see it in the pic--Puppy apparently need to be right there while I am taking the picture.  He also wanted a movie, so this is kind of random intermingled with a bit of whining....doesn't want to talk, but wants to hear what he says!  Oh brother!

Kid Car Wash

Grandma-mother made this really cool kid car wash/sprinkler for J.  Unfortunately, he is in this "don't want to get wet" mode and it takes a while for him to warm up to it.  He did finally get wet and had some fun!

Projects

We are starting some "projects", which is just J's words for preschool activities and things to help him develop some thinking skills and fine motor skills while playing.  He is sorting cars by color and cutting and pasting.
Plus, singing the abc's...his way.

Ohh La La!

This is J's attempt at dress up.  Love the SuperMan undies!

Our Olympic Athlete

J would watch the runners really closely and when they got on their marks so did he, then he would run circles and then bend over and pant.  He even stopped to get his drink of the water bottle.  He is ready for the Olympics I think!

Day with Care..

J came and spent a couple of days with me. We kept him busy. We went to the library, the park, Cabela's, the toy store and the splash pad.  It took him a while before actually getting into the water, but he finally made it in. However, once water got into his face - the fun halted while we wiped it off and then he could continue.

We also built a fort.  We played in it for a little bit, while watching the Olympics. Then he decided to take a nap in the fort.  He wouldn't let me take it down, just in case we wanted to play in it.

He loves the game "Marco" which is similar to Hide and Go Seek.  Of course, we washed dishes, and "worked" on the house.  He was here when we were fixing up the house and still wants to paint and wash and fix the doors.  We had a good time!

Lately

Lately, J has been able to have lots of company spread through over 2 months. We have kept him busy and occupied, and he has loved every minute of it!!

Doing one of his favorite jobs: washing dishes. This kid could "wash" dishes for hours if we let him!

He is starting to become a budding artist, can't you tell? He especially loves white boards - instant ability to draw, erase, draw, erase!

Driving the train at the park. He LOVED this park and had such a fun time running around and playing.

On one of his field trips out with the fam, J got to visit the Bean Museum in Provo. Here, he saw lots of fun animals. He loved it!

Lately, J has been spending alot of time with Aunt E. They have lots of fun running and playing. Cute together, don't ya think?

Here J is trying to help Aunt C pack up her house to move. His contribution to the process? Sitting IN the box of movies. Nicely played, J!

Mom made some duct tape rings for a project. J was kind enough to model the lovelies for all to see!

CHEEEEESSEEEEEE!

J has these "boppers" that he loves to run around the room with. One afternoon, he came up with lovely arrangement all by himself. He was so proud! Loving the new look J!!!
