Wear the colors proudly!

After game #1 J had to put on his matching hat and shirt.  Too bad you can't see it in the pic--Puppy apparently need to be right there while I am taking the picture.  He also wanted a movie, so this is kind of random intermingled with a bit of whining....doesn't want to talk, but wants to hear what he says!  Oh brother!

Kid Car Wash

Grandma-mother made this really cool kid car wash/sprinkler for J.  Unfortunately, he is in this "don't want to get wet" mode and it takes a while for him to warm up to it.  He did finally get wet and had some fun!

Projects

We are starting some "projects", which is just J's words for preschool activities and things to help him develop some thinking skills and fine motor skills while playing.  He is sorting cars by color and cutting and pasting.
Plus, singing the abc's...his way.

Ohh La La!

This is J's attempt at dress up.  Love the SuperMan undies!

Our Olympic Athlete

J would watch the runners really closely and when they got on their marks so did he, then he would run circles and then bend over and pant.  He even stopped to get his drink of the water bottle.  He is ready for the Olympics I think!

Day with Care..

J came and spent a couple of days with me. We kept him busy. We went to the library, the park, Cabela's, the toy store and the splash pad.  It took him a while before actually getting into the water, but he finally made it in. However, once water got into his face - the fun halted while we wiped it off and then he could continue.

We also built a fort.  We played in it for a little bit, while watching the Olympics. Then he decided to take a nap in the fort.  He wouldn't let me take it down, just in case we wanted to play in it.

He loves the game "Marco" which is similar to Hide and Go Seek.  Of course, we washed dishes, and "worked" on the house.  He was here when we were fixing up the house and still wants to paint and wash and fix the doors.  We had a good time!
