Monster Feet!

Everyone was cooking and wearing aprons. He first asked if I needed a bid. I told him no and it was an apron. That is when he decided he would need one too. This is the only "manly" one I had, so he put it on.

Train trip

We had a fun outing this week when we went downtown on the TRAX. I think J was so excited he couldn't hardly stand it. He got pretty good at talking back to the announcement guy and would repeat each time they announced a stop. We took the train down to the church museum where J acted like he knew right where to go. He really likes the kitchen and the play garden but this time he was interested in the truck and the dancing. It was quite a day and we were both pooped when we got home!

Lunch while waiting for the train.

Loves to drive ANY car

So exciting to be on the train!

All in all a great trip for the big boy.

This is at the church museum. They have some dancers that you can watch and dance with them. Jake wanted to be involved but wasn't quite sure. He actually wanted to wear a skirt like the other girls there, but I talked him into a cool vest....

Groundhog Day ecard

Auntie E sent a funny little ecard yesterday. This is what he did for about 20 times as we replayed the card. So done with it, but thanks Auntie E-- it was funny and he was funny watching!

Just having some fun

In between the cleaning and the laundry we had some dance time. He make look like a caged animal but he was having fun "jumping" and spinning.

Children's Discovery Museum

Chilling in the house built just for J!

Riding on a BIG horse!

Playing in the kitchen.

Cranking on the pulley in the construction zone

They even had a painting craft we decided to try out. It was a napkin holder.

We had a fun time at the Discovery Museum this week. There were tons of kids but that didn't stop J from getting right in to the middle!

Once there was a snowman

It was too cold and wet to go outside so we built our own snowman on the window. It was a hit. Thanks for the idea Aunt Car!

Christmas Day...

So many new toys and things to play with. He was one happy kid. (He was a bit spoiled, but what can we say?)

This was a couple of days after Christmas. He liked playing in the desert.
