This technically isn't a hat...but he was trying on aunt c's rain boots. looks like they fit pretty well, don't ya think?

Hakuna Matata

This is the new favorite song and we have to sing it over and over and over and over....

Happy Easter!

He had a great time dying eggs, but wanted to get them as soon as he dropped them in. We only had one dumped color at Aunt C's that I hope is clean...

Thanks GMa B for the cute Easter outfit. Pink is definitely this boy's color!

The Easter bunny came and left hidden eggs to find. J was super excited and was trying to scarf down all the candy as soon as he found it so that he could move on to the next egg. He liked the "Easter beans" (jelly beans) but loved the chocolate the most.

Monster Feet!

Everyone was cooking and wearing aprons. He first asked if I needed a bid. I told him no and it was an apron. That is when he decided he would need one too. This is the only "manly" one I had, so he put it on.

Train trip

We had a fun outing this week when we went downtown on the TRAX. I think J was so excited he couldn't hardly stand it. He got pretty good at talking back to the announcement guy and would repeat each time they announced a stop. We took the train down to the church museum where J acted like he knew right where to go. He really likes the kitchen and the play garden but this time he was interested in the truck and the dancing. It was quite a day and we were both pooped when we got home!

Lunch while waiting for the train.

Loves to drive ANY car

So exciting to be on the train!

All in all a great trip for the big boy.

This is at the church museum. They have some dancers that you can watch and dance with them. Jake wanted to be involved but wasn't quite sure. He actually wanted to wear a skirt like the other girls there, but I talked him into a cool vest....

Groundhog Day ecard

Auntie E sent a funny little ecard yesterday. This is what he did for about 20 times as we replayed the card. So done with it, but thanks Auntie E-- it was funny and he was funny watching!

Just having some fun

In between the cleaning and the laundry we had some dance time. He make look like a caged animal but he was having fun "jumping" and spinning.
